About
Angels on Stage (AoS) is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of children and young adults with special needs by breaking down stereotypes and empowering them to develop friendships, independence, confidence, self-esteem, and general life skills through the medium of professional performing arts. A highly adaptive and committed staff of special education and theater professionals design and deliver workshops and performances to ensure optimum growth and appropriate levels of support for each participant. While AoS uses theater as a medium for rich social interaction and personal development, the primary emphasis is not on artistic production itself, but rather on the process, growth and relationships that happen in the creation of theatre arts. Every Angel is a star and every role, onstage or off, makes the AoS experience special.
